Saggas collaborates on the “Essential Photography in the Time of Sorolla” exhibition by the Bancaja Foundation

Saggas is collaborating with the Bancaja Foundation’s new exhibition in Sagunto, “Essential Photography in the Time of Sorolla”, a showcase comprising 62 snapshots that reflect the Spain experienced by the painter of light and highlight his close relationship with this art form.

The exhibition, part of the agreement between Saggas and the Bancaja Foundation to support the cultural programming the organization develops in Sagunto, will be available at the Glorieta Exhibition Hall until July 28th.

Most of the photographs come from the photographic collections of the Hispanic Society of America, which are on permanent loan to the Bancaja Foundation, and some are from the Sorolla Museum. The images depict scenes of cities, monuments, customs, traditions, and figures that bear witness to the natural and ethnographic heritage of Spain in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
